Ash Mirchandani is the Deputy Director of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry. Business and Industry oversees 14 diverse State regulatory divisions – from the Athletic Commission to Financial Institutions to Taxicab Authority. Mr. Mirchandani is responsible for small business advocacy and development, housing policy, business financing programs, regulatory reform, special projects, constituent services, and operational audits.
Prior to his appointment, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Workforce CONNECTIONS and, prior to that, Assistant to the Director at the Nevada Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation (DETR).
Mr. Mirchandani has a B.S. in Business Administration from Calcutta University in India and an M.B.A. in Finance from Newport University, United States. He is a Certified Public Manager as well as an Oracle Certified Consultant. Mr. Mirchandani has extensive experience in federal fiscal regulations and policies, GAAP and GASB. He also received the Gold Medal in the Chartered Financial Analyst examinations from the Prime Minister of India.
Active in the community, Mr. Mirchandani serves on many boards and committees in the Las Vegas valley such as, Founding Chairman of United Citizens Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that conducts regular community services activities. He previously served as the Vice Chairman of the Hospital Advisory Board at UMC. He currently serves as a board member of the Public Employees Benefit Program and Home Means Nevada, Inc. and as a director for the Nevada Affordable Housing Assistance Corporation.

Radha Chanderraj, has been an attorney for nine years and has a wide range of business experience in Las Vegas. She has previously practiced public accounting, operated a medical practice, and served as an executive at Sierra Health Services. From September 1999 to April 2010, Ms. Chanderraj served on the Nevada Gaming Commission, a five-member commission that regulates statewide gaming industry. She was recently appointed to the Nevada Commission on Minority Affairs. Ms. Chanderraj focuses her practice in the Estate Planning, Health Care Law and Business and Corporate Law areas.
Ms. Chanderraj graduated Cum Laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law (of UNLV) and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Irvine, along with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Bombay in Bombay, India. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is a member of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar. Ms. Chanderraj is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is licensed as a CPA by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy.
Ms. Chanderraj grew up in Mumbai, India and moved to Las Vegas in 1981. She is married to Dr. Raj Chanderraj, a prominent cardiologist in Las Vegas. She is the proud mother of three wonderful boys who graduated from Stanford, Harvard, and Wharton.
Ms. Chanderraj is actively involved in the Las Vegas community. Her community activities include membership on the Board of Governors of Rainbow Dreams Academy, a charter school located in Las Vegas, Nevada, membership on the Community Board of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, membership on the Board of United Citizen’s Foundation, a non-profit group that serves at-risk youth, and membership on the Board of Directors of Las Vegas India Chamber of Commerce.

Anuja Dass has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the last 18 years.
She graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with Bachelors Science in Biology. She has lived in Las Vegas for the last 23 years after moving here from California. She is married, 26 years and has 3 children, two boys and a girl; the oldest is an environmentalist, the middle a chef and the youngest an actress/singer.
Cheri’s passion in life is to be charitable and serve others. She is currently on the board of directors for UCF and CCMSA .
When she is not working she spends her time in mammoth skiing , on a houseboat at Lake Powell, and on the beach in beautiful San Clemente California.
